Really like your Tiered framework (3-5%, 5-8%, etc) for thinking of allocation. You can't really get more upside from diversification beyond 20 holdings + the stocks that make up the most of your returns will likely be only a handful of that 20.   
  
You certainly have me looking at my own portfolio and the need for me to re-adjust, move some to cash and pick companies that align more with what I have conviction in.
